MAU is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Cincinnati, OH. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging equipment, automated controls, rotating equipment, and facility systems within a 24/5 lubricants production plant. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

\n

\n
• 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
\n
• 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:10 AM
\n
• New hires will train on 1st shift for 6 to 8 weeks.
\n

\n

\n

Required Education and Experience

\n

\n
• 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing
\n
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
\n

\n

\n

Preferred Education and Experience

\n

\n
• Vocational or Technical school diploma/certificate
\n
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing, such as consumer products or food and beverage
\n

\n

\n

General Requirements

\n

\n
• Working knowledge of liquid filling and metering systems, conveyors, 120v and 480v equipment, and Maintenance Connect
\n
• PLC knowledge and familiarity, including Allen Bradley and Siemens
\n

\n

\n

Essential Functions

\n

\n
• Maintain and repair packaging equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, date coders, and palletizers
\n
• Work with automated controls, including photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, and PanelView parameters
\n
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and complete routine adjustments
\n
• Service rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors, through disassembly, replacing worn parts, replacing gaskets and/or packing, and performing alignments
\n
• Apply PLC knowledge and familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems
\n
• Perform facility maintenance on boilers, water systems, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, and make-up air units
\n
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by the client from time to time in its sole discretion
\n
